To kick off our countdown to February (The Month of Love), we're starting up a new feature on this here blog. It's pretty simple: we're going to tell you about things we love, and we'd love to hear you share things you love. Today's entry:
HOW DID YOU MEET?
It's sometimes cheesy, sometimes boring, but as Valentine's Day approaches, we're getting in the mood (ahem) for stories about how people met their significant other, be it husband, girlfriend, business partner, or favorite pet.
Me? Well, I actually met my boyfriend through an online dating site. Yep, that's the whole truth -- nothing glamorous. Just as I was about to delete my account I received a very casual and friendly message from a bearded vegetarian with an adorable Golden Retriever. Our first date was grabbing some Indian food and checking out a furniture show at an art gallery.
So how about you? How did you meet your main squeeze?
Love,
Lindsay @ L.V.

Well check you out !! Love the new blog layout.. Looking good LVD, but then again, when are you not!
I met my husband at a Haloween costume party. We were both at the party shopping for a spouse (believe it or not!) so the timing was right. He says that the minute he heard my voice he knew that I was his wife and he actually got angry with me for taking so long to show up! It took me some convincing that he was my soulmate, but not too much convincing! He called me the next morning on the advice of a friend and I was totally impressed that he didn't wait the three days like most guys would have thought they should do to seem cool. I thought that was awesome!
I met my husband on a blind date believe it or not! I knew from the moment I met him that we would be married. After losing his phone number and ignoring him for a month, I finally went into PI mode and contacted a friend of a friend via email to try to get in touch with him. We're going on 5 years of marriage this year!
Lindsay,
My husband and I met playing an online video game and dated for 4 moths before meeting in person. We've been together for 5 year and married for one! I couldn't imagine life without my love <3
